RULES
1. Maturity Is Mandatory
Don’t grab for all of the attention. If something is going on that doesn’t involve you, don’t force all of it back onto you. Everyone will get their turn in the spotlight.
No Drama outside of plot, please. If you have complaints, keep it out of the RP and message one of the admins directly.
Banned Subject Matter- *VERY IMPORTANT*
Rape
Pedophilia
Romanticized abuse, mental health etc.
Please apply TRIGGER WARNINGS to any other kind of subject matter that can trigger someone. Ie: Cutting, mental illness, bullying etc.
YOU GET ONE WARNING. THAT’S IT.
2. SPELLING AND GRAMMAR
Just try your best. We understand if you make typos, etc. We just ask that you try to watch for mistakes. No one wants to have to decipher what anyone is saying.
3. No God-Moding
No invincible characters. You can have strong, hard to defeat characters, but everyone has a weakness. Along with this is having your character succeed in defeating an entire army alone. Everyone else would like to be heroes as well.
No controlling what other characters do. If your character tells a joke and you say that everyone laughs, that is controlling someone else’s character. Maybe they didn’t want to laugh. If it’s not your character, lay off.
4. R.E.S.P.E.C.T
Do NOT be rude to another person, no matter what. This is your only warning. No second chances for this rule.
5. Read the mood
Make the appropriate moves with your characters according to the situation. Random can be fun, but too random gets out of hand and ridiculous.
There’s a rule in improv. Don’t ever say no, go with the flow. Keep this rule in mind. Constantly fighting back against what someone is trying to accomplish gets tiring and it makes it harder for the scene to continue. If you don’t agree with what someone else is doing, or you have an idea about how to make it better etc, message them.
To go along with this, don’t take control. We ask you to contribute, but don’t try to control the situation by yourself. If you have something specific you want to happen, set the basics out beforehand, but let others contribute to it and go off of that. It’s a lot more fun and interesting to go off of someone else’s reactions.
6. Have fun! If you have any questions, don’t be afraid to message one of the admins.
